Week Summary: This week, We will really begin working on speaking in French. Students will be able to count to 10, Identify French-speaking countries, and introduce themselves appropriately.
MLK Holiday–No school!
Vocabulary due TODAY
Students will be able to fill out forms with basic information: Students will create an ID based on the names they researched last week
Students will be able to appropriately exchange basic information: Students will role play short conversations introducing their alter egos
Students will be able to say and ask for dates: Students will complete an information gap activity with birth dates of francophone celebrities.
Study vocabulary and numbers–Quiz THURSDAY
Students will be able to identify countries where French is spoken: Students will play the fly swat game identifying French speaking countries
Students will be able to use vocabulary in appropriate circumstances:
Students will be able to describe themselves and others: Students will identify the nationalities of themselves, their classmates, and others
Students will be able compare cultural products between the United States and a French speaking country: MUSIQUE MERCREDI!
